Ramsey began dancing at the age of seven years old under director Amy Lowe of the Performing Arts Center of Tallahassee.  Mostly trained in ballet, her extensive dance background also includes pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, acrobatics, modern, and musical theater.  As she continued her dance career, she competed in many local, national, and even international competitions all over the country.

Miss Brightman still holds the 2007 “Miss Young Senior” Title for Dance Educators of America in Orlando, Fl, and the title for “Miss International Dance Challenge” in 2004.  She was chosen to dance and compete with the American Academy of Ballet under Mignon Furman in New York City, and she also received a full scholarship to attend Dance Educator’s of America’s month long ballet seminar in Las Vegas, NV.  Here, she studied at the University of Las Vegas with Mia Michaels, Juan Sanchez, and Suzanne Ferrel.  Ramsey also participated in the Moscow Ballet Nutcracker as it toured the Southeastern part of the country in 2008.

Now, Ramsey teaches several types of dance all over the Jacksonville area, and her choreography has received prestigious recognition and numerous special awards. She graduated from University of North Florida in 2015 with her Bachelors in Exercise Science and a minor in Health Education, so she specializes in injury prevention while training dancers.  She hopes to continue her education to become either a physical or occupation therapist. Currently, while not at the studio, Ramsey is managing a StretchLab in Jacksonville.
